Home, home to family, normal traffic, cool weather, water that come out of the tap every time you turn the knob, lights that come on every time you flip the switch, a bed that is clean and comfortable without netting over it, instant Internet access, telephones, refrigeration, a bathtub.
Yet my heart is still in Africa. Sierre Leone, where the people are friendly and peaceful, where laughter comes easy in spite of their circumstances, where communities become families, where people are forgiving, where children are eager to go to school.
As I go through my "snaps" (photos) and get over my jetlag, I will post more about what this experience and the people of Sierre Leone have taught me.
